Angular Frequency

Definition

Angular frequency is the rate at which an object rotates or oscillates around an axis. It is measured in radians per second.

Analogy

Imagine yourself spinning on an office chair. The angular frequency would be how fast you rotate around in circles. If you spin faster, your angular frequency increases; if you spin slower, your angular frequency decreases.
