An ammeter is a device used to measure the electric current flowing through a particular point in an electrical circuit.
Imagine an ammeter as a flow meter for electricity. Similar to how you can measure the rate at which water flows through pipes using a flow meter, an ammeter measures the rate at which electric current flows through wires.
Current: Current refers to the flow of electric charge (electrons) in an electrical circuit.
Resistance: Resistance is the opposition offered by materials to the flow of electric current. It determines how difficult it is for current to pass through.
Series Circuit: In series circuits, components are connected one after another along the same path so that there's only one path for current to flow.
