Definition

Open-ended questions that require students to provide detailed written responses rather than selecting from predetermined answer choices. These questions often assess higher-order thinking skills and require critical analysis.

FRQs are like writing an essay or giving a speech. You have the freedom to express your thoughts and ideas in detail, providing evidence and examples to support your arguments.
