Wars

Definition

Wars are conflicts carried out by force between nations or groups within a nation.

Analogy

Think of wars as a high-stakes game of chess, where each side is trying to outmaneuver the other and capture their king. But unlike chess, wars have real-world consequences with lives lost and property destroyed.

Total War: A war that involves complete mobilization of resources and people, affecting the lives of all citizens in the warring countries, even those remote from the battlefields. It’s like turning an entire society into a giant chessboard where every single piece is involved in some way.
