Definition
Technology refers to the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry. It includes machinery and equipment developed from such scientific knowledge.
Analogy
Think of technology as a toolbox. Just like how a toolbox has different tools designed to perform specific tasks (like a hammer for nails or a screwdriver for screws), technology provides us with various tools (like computers, smartphones, etc.) that help us accomplish certain tasks more efficiently.
