Lumber
Definition
Lumber is wood that has been processed into beams or planks, a stage in the process of wood production.
Analogy
Consider lumber as the 'building blocks' for construction projects. Just like Lego pieces are used to build various structures, lumber is used to construct houses, furniture etc.
