Internal migration refers to moving within a country, rather than across international borders.
Think of internal migration as moving from one room in your house to another. You're still under the same roof (or within the same country), but you've changed your immediate surroundings.
Interregional Migration: This involves moving from one region of a country to another - like deciding to move from your bedroom to the living room.
Intraregional Migration: This is when people move within one region - akin to moving from your bed to the desk in the same room.
Urbanization: This term refers to movement of people from rural areas to cities, much like choosing to leave a quiet study room for a bustling living area with TV and games.
