Definition

External forces refer to factors or influences that come from outside of a nation's borders and have the potential to challenge its sovereignty. These forces can include economic, political, social, or environmental factors.

Analogy

Imagine you're playing a game of soccer with your friends. The external forces are like players from the opposing team who try to take control of the ball and challenge your team's control over the game.
