Central America

Definition

Central America is a narrow isthmus extending from Mexico in North America to Colombia in South America. It includes seven countries - Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.

Analogy

You can think of Central America as a bridge connecting two larger landmasses (North America and South America). Just like how bridges allow us to travel between two points more easily, Central America provides an important geographical link between North and South American continents.
