Courts (judiciary)

Definition

Courts make up the judiciary branch of government. They interpret laws, apply them in individual cases, and decide if they violate the Constitution.

Analogy

Imagine courts like referees in a football game. They don't play or make rules but ensure everyone follows them correctly. If there's any dispute about whether a rule has been broken or how it should be applied, they have final say.
