Political Action Committee (PAC): A type of organization that can raise and spend unlimited amounts of money to support candidates or issues they endorse.
Super PAC: Similar to PACs but with more flexibility in terms of fundraising and spending limits. They cannot directly coordinate with a candidate's campaign.
Soft Money: Refers to funds raised by political parties for purposes other than supporting specific candidates, such as party-building activities or issue advocacy. Soft money was heavily restricted by campaign finance laws.
