Universal Suffrage

Definition

Universal suffrage refers to the right for all adult citizens to vote without restrictions based on race, sex, belief, wealth, or social status.

Analogy

Imagine a buffet restaurant where everyone can eat regardless of their age, dietary preferences or allergies. Universal suffrage is like this buffet - every adult citizen gets a chance to 'eat' (vote), no matter who they are.
