Think of human rights as a universal menu available at a restaurant for every person on Earth. Just like everyone deserves access to food choices without discrimination or mistreatment based on who they are or where they come from.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights: A document adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948 that establishes fundamental human rights standards for all people.
European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR): An international treaty signed in 1950 that protects human rights across Europe.
