Euroskepticism

Definition

Euroskepticism refers to the criticism of, or opposition to, the European Union (EU). It's a political philosophy held by people who either oppose their country's membership in the EU or believe that their national government should have more power than the EU.

Analogy

Think of Euroskepticism like being part of a sports team but not liking how the coach runs things. You might think you could play better if you were allowed to make your own decisions instead of following the coach's game plan.
