Parliamentary Sovereignty

Definition

Parliamentary sovereignty is a concept in which parliament holds supreme authority over all aspects of governance within its jurisdiction. It means that parliament can make or change laws without any external interference.

Analogy

Think of parliamentary sovereignty as the captain of a ship. Just like how the captain has complete control over the ship's course and decisions, parliament has ultimate authority in making and changing laws within its jurisdiction.
