Logical deductions or conclusions drawn from evidence gathered through observation, experimentation, analysis of data, documents, etc., in order to reach broader understandings about political phenomena.
Making inferences is like solving a puzzle. You gather various pieces of information (evidence) from different sources and put them together to see the bigger picture (broader understanding).
Generalization: Drawing broader conclusions about an entire population based on observations or experiments conducted on a smaller sample within that population.
Inductive Reasoning: A logical process in which general conclusions are drawn from specific observations or examples.
Deductive Reasoning: A logical process in which specific conclusions are derived from general principles or theories.
