Strong electrolytes are substances that completely dissociate into ions when they dissolve in water. They conduct electricity very well because of this complete ionization.
Consider strong electrolytes as professional athletes. When they get into the game (dissolve in water), they give their all (completely ionize) resulting in excellent performance (high conductivity).
Acid: A molecule or other entity that can donate a proton or accept an electron pair in reactions.
Base: A substance that can accept protons or donate a pair of valence electrons.
Salt: An ionic compound that results from the neutralization reaction of an acid and a base.
