Statistical Treatment
Definition
Statistical treatment refers to the mathematical methods used in analyzing and interpreting data collected during an experiment or study.
Analogy
Think of statistical treatment like a detective solving a case. The raw data are the clues, and statistical treatment is the process of piecing together these clues to find out what they collectively mean or represent.

Mean: This is the average value of a set of numbers, calculated by adding all numbers in the set and dividing by how many numbers there are.
Median: This is the middle number in a sorted list of numbers; half the numbers are above it, and half are below it.
