Radiation refers to electromagnetic waves or particles emitted from a source. It can include various forms such as visible light, ultraviolet (UV) rays, X-rays, gamma rays, and more.
Waves that consist of electric and magnetic fields oscillating perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the direction of wave propagation.
Ultraviolet Rays (UV): Electromagnetic waves with shorter wavelengths than visible light but longer wavelengths than X-rays.
High-energy electromagnetic waves emitted during radioactive decay or nuclear reactions.
