Deposition

Definition

Deposition refers to the phase transition where gas transforms directly into solid without passing through the liquid phase.

Analogy

Imagine you're playing musical chairs with your friends. Normally, when the music stops, everyone scrambles for an open chair and sits down one by one. But deposition is like teleporting directly into an available chair without having to scramble around first!
