In chemistry, concentration refers to the amount of a substance per defined space. It's usually measured in terms of mass per unit volume.
Think of concentration like a party. The number of people (substance) in the room (defined space) determines how crowded (concentrated) the party is. If more people enter the room without increasing its size, the party becomes more concentrated.
Molarity: This is a measure of concentration, specifically it's the number of moles of solute per liter of solution.
Molality: Another measure of concentration, molality is defined as the number of moles of solute per kilogram of solvent.
Solubility: This term refers to the maximum amount of a substance that can be dissolved in a specific amount of solvent at a particular temperature.
