Definition
In chemistry, attraction refers to the force that draws particles together due to opposite charges or polarities.
Analogy
Just as opposite poles on magnets pull towards each other, so do oppositely charged ions in chemistry. It's like a romantic dance where positive ions are attracted towards negative ions!
