An acidic salt is a compound that contains both a positive ion (cation) and a negative ion (anion), where the anion is derived from an acid. It has properties of both an acid and a salt.
Imagine an acidic salt as a hybrid car. Just like how a hybrid car combines features of both gasoline-powered cars and electric cars, an acidic salt combines properties of both acids and salts.
Acid: A substance that donates protons (H+) when dissolved in water.
Salt: The product formed when an acid reacts with a base, consisting of a positive ion (cation) from the base and a negative ion (anion) from the acid.
Basic Salt: A type of salt that contains hydroxide ions (OH-) as part of its structure, giving it basic properties.
