Definition
The acid form refers to the non-ionized or protonated state of an acidic compound. It does not carry any net charge.
Analogy
Imagine the acid form as a regular civilian going about their daily life. They don't have any special powers (charge) or fancy costumes (extra electrons), just their normal self without any changes.
