Definition
Interspecies competition is a form of competition in which individuals of different species compete for the same resources in an ecosystem, such as food or living space.
A relationship between two different species where at least one benefits. There are three types - mutualism (both benefit), commensalism (one benefits, the other is unaffected), and parasitism (one benefits, the other is harmed).
Resource Partitioning: The division of limited resources by species to help avoid competition in an ecological niche.
