Homeostasis is the process by which organisms maintain a relatively stable internal environment despite changes in external conditions.
Negative Feedback: This is a control mechanism that reduces or stops an output to maintain optimal conditions within an organism.
Positive Feedback: This is another control mechanism but instead of reducing, it amplifies or increases an output for a specific process.
Thermoregulation: This refers to how organisms regulate their own body temperature within certain boundaries, even when the surrounding temperature is very different.
