Definition

Community interactions refer to the ways in which different species within an ecosystem interact with each other. These interactions can be competitive, cooperative, or predatory.

Mutualism:

A type of interaction where both species benefit from their relationship.

Symbiosis:

This refers to any long-term interaction between two different biological organisms. It could be mutualistic (both benefit), parasitic (one benefits at the expense of the other) or commensal (one benefits and the other is neither harmed nor helped).
