Pancreatic juice

Definition

Pancreatic juice is a clear, alkaline secretion of the pancreas containing enzymes that aid in the digestion of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. It flows through the pancreatic duct into the duodenum, where it performs its digestive functions.
