Müllerian duct

Definition

The Müllerian ducts are embryonic structures that develop into the female reproductive tract, including the fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and the upper portion of the vagina in females. In males, these ducts regress due to the influence of anti-Müllerian hormone.
