The College Board recently announced the AP World Exam in 2020 will consist of a Modified DBQ. Students can approach this as a LEQ + a DBQ.

Increasing production in late Middle Ages created the context for the expansion of trade routes and expanding states. Growth in agriculture was the foundation for growing urbanization and manufacturing. Innovations in production in China increased the availability of luxury goods.
