Using a prompt made for the Cram Sessions, we discussed the language used to characterize Clarisse from Fahrenheit 451, and how to translate findings into diction analysis. Some considerations for diction and syntax analysis were given, then applied to passages from previous streams. After discussing the role diction and syntax play in earning a sophistication point, we ended with a homework prompt with some specific challenges regarding writing style and variation.
