The practice of agriculture has changed dramatically since it first began thousands of years ago. In modern times, we observe that the total number of farms is decreasing, while the size of remaining farms is increasing. In this live stream, we use the example of dairy farming to investigate the factors behind these changes, and take a look at how some community movements have responded to this “big farm” phenomenon. We also address the problems with large-scale farming in preparation for the ultimate question: Will we be okay?
