In this review, we discuss atoms (ions, bonding and molecules). We review the 3 types of bonds (ionic, covalent, hydrogen). We cover the properties of water, covering cohesion and adhesion (with a mini experiment of balancing example). We go over the properties of universal solvent with a diagram and show how oil is different and show that explain how ice floats with a diagram. We cover the specific heat capacity, show how water maintains its relative temperature, and discuss its 4 properties. We discuss macromolecules, carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids and end the discussion with lipids (and more advanced structures).
