AP US Government
Unit 4 – American Political Ideologies and Beliefs
Topic 4.3
How might U.S. government policies been different if progressivism had not emerged as a significant force during the late 20th century?
America could've become an autocratic regime by now.
We might see fewer social welfare programs and less emphasis on ecological, economic and social equality concerns within policy-making process.
Large corporations wouldn't exist anymore due to increased regulation and oversight from federal agencies.
There would be no difference in U.S. government policies whatsoever.
