The Suzuki-Miyaura reaction is a type of organometallic coupling reaction where a carbon-carbon bond is formed between a boron compound and an organohalide, in the presence of a palladium catalyst. It is widely used in the synthesis of complex organic compounds, including pharmaceuticals and polymers.
