Cultural imperialism

Definition

Cultural imperialism is the practice where the culture of a more powerful country or society is imposed onto a less powerful one, often leading to the erosion or diminishing of the latter's cultural identity. It can occur through media dominance, language spread, or consumer culture, among other means.
