Color-Avoidance Racism

Definition

Color-avoidance racism is a form of racial discrimination that arises from pretending race and color do not exist, thereby ignoring the impacts of racism and the experiences of people of color. It operates under the guise of "colorblindness," often resulting in the perpetuation of racial inequalities by failing to address and confront them.
