Definition

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is an independent federal agency established in 1935, responsible for enforcing US labor law in relation to collective bargaining and unfair labor practices. It oversees the establishment and conduct of union elections, protects workers' rights to organize, and adjudicates disputes between unions and employers.
