National Labor Relations Board

Definition

The National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency established in 1935 that enforces US labor law in relation to collective bargaining and unfair labor practices. It oversees the process for employees to choose whether to have unions as their bargaining representative and adjudicates disputes between employers, employees, and unions.
