Wind power is the use of air flow through wind turbines to mechanically power generators for electricity.
Think of wind power like a giant, invisible treadmill. When the wind blows, it's like someone running on that treadmill, turning the wheels (turbines) which then powers up our electronic devices.
Turbine: A machine for producing continuous power in which a wheel or rotor is made to revolve by a fast-moving flow of water, steam, gas, air, or other fluid.
Renewable Energy: Energy from a source that is not depleted when used, such as wind or solar power.
Wind Farm: An area of land with a group of energy-producing windmills or wind turbines.
