USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics)

Definition

The USSR, also known as the Soviet Union, was a federal socialist state in Northern Eurasia that existed from 1922 to 1991. It was a one-party state governed by the Communist Party.

Analogy

Think of the USSR as a strict school principal who has set very rigid rules and regulations for all students (representing different republics). The principal's word is law, and there's no room for disagreement or dissent.
