Segregation

Definition

Segregation is the enforced separation of different racial groups in a country, community, or establishment.

Analogy

Think of segregation like a school cafeteria where everyone is forced to sit at specific tables based on their hair color. No matter how much you might want to sit with your friends at another table, the rules prevent it because your hair colors are different.
