A region refers to a specific area or district that shares common characteristics, such as geography, culture, or political beliefs.

Analogy

Imagine regions as different neighborhoods in a city. Each neighborhood has its own unique identity and preferences that set it apart from the others. Just like how people in different neighborhoods might have different opinions on certain issues, regions can also have distinct viewpoints and interests.
