Opposition to war refers to individuals or groups who disagree with their country's involvement in military conflict due to moral, political or strategic reasons.

Analogy

Imagine your friend wants you both to prank another classmate but you're against it because you think it's mean or could get you in trouble. That’s similar to opposition to war – people standing up against something they believe isn't right or beneficial.
