Latitude: A geographic coordinate that represents north-south positioning on Earth's surface. Lines of latitude are parallel to the Equator.
Hemisphere: Half of the Earth divided either by the Equator (Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere) or by the Prime Meridian (Eastern Hemisphere and Western Hemisphere).
