Food Administration

Definition

The Food Administration was a U.S. federal agency created during WWI to manage the wartime supply, conservation, distribution and transportation of food.

Analogy

Imagine you're planning a big party with limited resources. You'd be like the Food Administration, figuring out how much food is needed, encouraging guests not to waste food (conservation), deciding where it goes (distribution), and making sure it gets there on time (transportation).
