Bicameral Legislature

Definition

A bicameral legislature is a lawmaking body made up of two chambers or parts.

Analogy

Imagine if your school had two principals - one for academic matters and another for extracurricular activities. Both have different responsibilities but work together to run the school smoothly. That's how a bicameral legislature works with its two chambers each having unique duties but collaborating to make laws.
