USAID

Definition

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent agency of the United States federal government that is primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid and development assistance.

Analogy

USAID is like a global charity organization, but instead of being privately funded, it's run by the U.S. government. It helps other countries improve their living conditions, much like how charities help individuals in need.
