Guru Granth Sahib

Definition

The Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign, and eternal living guru following the lineage of the ten human Gurus of the religion.

Analogy

Think of Guru Granth Sahib like a user manual for life in Sikhism. Just like how you would refer to a user manual to understand how to operate a new gadget or appliance, Sikhs refer to this holy book for spiritual guidance and understanding their faith.
