A country located in the Horn of Africa, known for its ancient civilization and being one of the only African nations to resist European colonialism.

Analogy

Think of Ethiopia as a sturdy, ancient tree in a forest (Africa). While many trees around it were cut down (colonized), this tree managed to stand tall and strong, maintaining its roots (culture and sovereignty).
